“ORIENTAL DRAGON”, the Main Dimensions is 124.0 metres in Length Over All (L.O.A), 24.0 meters in Width, 10.2 meters in Depth, has a designed draft of 6.5 meters, with a Deck Area of 900 square meters, Speed of about 14.5 knots, Endurance of 45 days, and a Capacity of 120 personnel. It adopts the integrated design of diving system and hull, equipped with the fixed 24-man dual-bell saturated diving system with a depth of 300 meters and double diving moon pool, which can realize large-scale diving operation. At the same time, it is equipped with DP3 dynamic positioning system, which can meet the positioning operation requirements under sea conditions of 25 knots wind speed and 1.5 knots flow rate. In addition, the Vessel is also equipped with two 3000m deep-water working class ROV and 250 Tons active heave compensation Marine crane, with strong underwater operational capability, operating water depth up to 3000m, and wave compensation accuracy of ± 5cm. And equipped with anti- roll system that greatly improve the safety and comfort on the Vessel.
Saturation diving is a diving method suitable for long-term operations under conditions of great depths. The saturation diving operation support main ship is recognized in the industry as an offshore vessel with high technical complexity and complicated in manufacturing. Saturation diving vessel can help divers dive into deep water of several hundred meters and carry out long hours of work, which greatly improves the ability and efficiency of human diving operations. It can be widely used in military, marine resource development and utilization, rescue and salvage, scientific investigation and survey and other fields.

The vessel has a dedicated ROV hangar equipped with shipside LARS and moon pool LARS systems. The hangar is capable of holding 2 sets of 150hp working class ROVs. The LARS systems have active heave compensation function and be able to operate ROVs at depth within 3000m.
The shipside ROV LARS combines the hangar door and A-frame together, the hanger door can be completely closed during operation, and it is an innovative LARS design, not only for saving space but also improving safety.
The independent shipside LARS and moon pool LARS allow the vessel to operate two ROVs at the same time, to obtain high efficiency.

The system consists of four DDC chambers of 6-man, two TUP chambers, two diving bells and two Hyperbaric Lifeboats.
During the diving operation, the divers are living in full closed hyperbaric environment. Helium oxygen mixture is supplied for divers breathing, the gas reserves onboard are sufficient for 21 days continuous diving mission with work shifts over 24 hours by 24 divers.

The knuckled main offshore crane has maximum working load of 250tons in air. The crane remains lift capacity of 150tons at the maximum working depth of 3000M; this is perfect for seabed installation.
The auxiliary offshore crane is certified for personnel lifting as well.

An active anti-heeling tank system based on pumps is arranged for assisting crane operation.
